Gunnar Michelsen's career spans operations, defense technologies, investment, and energy. Starting in Silicon Valley before college, he developed a foundation in operations and early-stage deal analysis. Gunnar then graduated from the University of Chicago Where he studied Economics and History. At the height of COVID, he worked with Curative, where he designed and led COVID testing logistics for Florida, demonstrating strong operational management skills. Michelsen went on to work with 8VC on early-stage investments and defense technology advisory. His experience grew at Clocktower and Moore Capital, as he focused on innovation in the defense, energy, and water sectors. Currently, Gunnar is dedicated to improving energy generation and infrastructure in Texas and the US as a whole, aiming to enhance resilience and efficiency in emergency scenarios.
